ACRYLIC NAILS: Pink and White, Silk Wrap, Dip Powder
Acrylic nails are a solution for women who want nails appearing longer and stronger. They last 2-3 weeks, are easy to repair, and can either be removed or filled in.
Cost of Service:

Tools you’ll need:
Cuticle Remover $5
Cuticle Pusher $4
Buffing Block $3
Nail File $2
Nail Prep/Dehydrator $9
Acid Free Nail Primer $9
Dappen Dish $3
Lint Free Wipes $5
Acrylic Nail Brush $13
Acrylic Powder $10
Acrylic Adhesive Liquid $8
Top Coat $4
Nail Tips $8
Nail Glue $3
Cuticle Oil $6
Pink and White Step by Step:
Start any service in the salon with a consultation. Find out what color she/he would like, if any, and discuss the shape of nail she prefers.
To prep the nail, sanitize the hands. Apply cuticle remover and push back the cuticles.
Using a buffer, buff each nail bed. Dust the powder off.
Once the dust is removed, apply dehydrator and one coat of primer to each nail.
Apply a nail form to each nail.
Using a brush, dip into your acrylic solution, then into the white acrylic powder, creating a ball. Apply it to the tip of the nail to create the white tip. Remove excess liquid from your brush on a towel for more control.
Spread, flatten and smooth the acrylic using your brush.
To create your smile line, dip your acrylic brush into the liquid and wipe it off, twirling the bristles on your towel to make a point. Holding the brush straight up, wipe and refine your smile line shape until the acrylic is nearly set.
Apply pink product and continue until each nail is complete.
File and buff each nail to desired shape and smoothness.
Remove dust from nails and finish with a gel sealant.
Silk Wrap Step by Step:
Follow steps 1-3 for pink and white nails.
Trim your silk nail wrap to desired shape and length. Set out for each nail.
Apply a thin coat of glue to the nail and apply the wrap to the the tip of the nail.
Hold the wrap with pressure for 10 - 15 seconds.
Once the wraps have dried, file if necessary, followed by polish and top coat.
Dip Powder Step by Step:
Follow steps 1-3 for pink and white nails.
Choose nail tips, lay them out and glue to the tips of each nail.
Dip the acrylic brush into the dappen dish.
Create a ball of acrylic by dipping your wet brush into the acrylic. Remove excess liquid from your brush by blotting on a towel for more control.
Apply ball of acrylic to nail bed toward the top of the nail and spread down toward tip.
Sculpt the acrylic. Use brush to flatten and smooth acrylic. Dip brush into the acrylic liquid as needed. Sculpt nail with acrylic beads until formed.
File nails until smooth. The higher the grit, the smoother it is.
Apply top coat. Put nails under nail dryer for two minutes.
